matthew carter: type hype

Tonight AIGA Boston honors legendary type designer Matthew Carter, creator of fonts such as Georgia, Verdana, Miller, and Bell Centennial. Fritz Klaetke of Visual Dialogue was one of 13 local designers asked to graphically interpret a letter in Matthew’s name. The resulting “H” poster—made up of tools of the trade which have become obsolete in our computer-centric world—will be one of the posters auctioned off at the event.
