USQ brand identity & website
Although one of the most vibrant neighborhoods in the area and despite its close proximity to Harvard Square, Kendall/MIT, and downtown Boston, Union Square in Somerville had been hamstrung by the lack of efficient public transportation. With the opening of the new Green Line T station in 2021, a tremendous opportunity exists to bring new residents and businesses to the Square. But how do we express this future vision today?
In creating the branding and website for this development, Visual Dialogue started with an extensive research and discovery process to understand both the best of the current neighborhood and the potential of its future. The logo plays off the “square” of Union Square, with the grid structure extending to the website. Videos showing an overview of the area and USQ&A interviews demonstrate the best of what Union Square has to offer and why more businesses and residents will soon call it home.
