where do we go from here?
Visual Dialogue principal & strategy director Susan Battista recognized the need for a new model of housing—one for her daughter Ava and other differently-thinking young adults. She envisioned Ava living in a community that was small enough to be safe but big enough to enable her to live independently. While Ava was attending the Riverview School, Susan found the ideal location for her vision in Downtown Hyannis, the heart of Cape Cod, and that’s where you’ll find OverHere.
it takes a village
With statistics indicating that 80% of adults with special needs remain living at home with their families, OverHere is creating an alternative. Located right in the center of Hyannis, each property is unique with different styles of living to meet residents’ tastes and needs. From a modern apartment building with live-in support (and Hyphen, a multi-use artspace) to cottage-style homes to a historic Captain’s house (built in 1775!), what unites these properties is the extraordinary people who live here.
always evolving
As the community grew, the question of what to call this new model became apparent. The solution was a name that communicates where you can find home, community, and opportunity: OverHere. Inspired by the variety of residences and their unique residents, the flexible logo system can shift and change to mimic the shape of the different homes or serve as an arrow indicating the where of OverHere. A color palette of blues makes a nod to Hyannis’s oceanside location and the blue sky thinking that has been realized here.

The website highlights everything OverHere has to offer. An intro video situates the viewer in downtown Hyannis and demonstrates the close proximity of the four residences to each other, to the many businesses on Main Street, and to the busy harbor. An interactive map demonstrates convenience by highlighting all of the points of interest within walking distance.
