Boston’s Downtown Crossing has been transformed into a magical menagerie of twelve giant, animal-themed nutcrackers this holiday season. These illuminated figures surprise and delight, courtesy of the Downtown Boston Alliance (formerly Downtown Boston Business Improvement District).
Visual Dialogue worked closely with the Alliance to develop the name, visual identity, copy, and promotional graphics for this zoolightful attraction. Children from a local daycare center selected the animals which range from a dog and cat to a unicorn and rhinoceros.
These 16-foot tall, brilliant beasts fill the Downtown Crossing shopping district from the Jewelers Exchange Building to the Opera House (where the Boston Ballet just happens to be performing The Nutcracker!)
